Hit-run Moorabbin girl critical

POLICE are seeking witnesses to a hit-run incident in Dandenong early yesterday that left a 16-year-old Moorabbin girl with critical injuries.

Police believe the girl was walking with another teenager west on Walker Street before being struck by a blue van while crossing at the Mason Street intersection about 2.30am.

The van was last seen travelling west on Walker Street. The teenager was taken to The Alfred hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or the van to call Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000 or visit crimestoppers.com.au.
