FORMER Eumemmerring College teacher Keith Pimblett has been appointed the Federal Government's south-east local employment co-ordinator.

"I will also work with local business and government to create new projects that are going to move our community into new and different industries to help diversify the region and generally bring more people who are disengaged into engagement; into employment and create as many long term sustainable jobs as we can in the region," Mr Pimblett said.
